LearnHouse is a candidate for organizing and delivering learning content. Moving a course also involves enrollment, payment, video delivery, progress and the messages learners receive.
When to explore it
You want control over the learning environment and can support a pilot with a small group. Clear requirements for access and progress tracking help define what the new system needs.
When keeping the current tool may make sense
A managed course platform may remain the better fit if integrated checkout, marketing, learner support or mobile delivery matters more than infrastructure control. A learning platform alone does not reproduce a whole course business.
Costs that belong in the comparison
Include hosting, media storage and delivery, email, payment services, paid features and ongoing support. Account for the work of migrating content and communicating the change to existing learners.
What to verify before a move
- Test enrollment, login, course access and a complete lesson sequence.
- Verify payment and access changes together, including cancellation or refunds.
- Check mobile playback, accessibility and progress reporting.
- Preserve learner records and test export and recovery before switching.
Does a running course platform prove a migration is ready?
No. A pilot needs to verify the learner workflow, required records, payment/access behavior and support responsibilities.
